Woohoo! We are one step closer.
On Thursday, June 13th, we went to City Hall in San Francisco and took our first step to making this marriage thing official. It's hard to believe we are only 4 weeks from the ceremony and better yet the honeymoon!

With about 6 weeks left before our big day, Matt and I wanted to remind everyone that if you haven't booked a hotel room and travel that you should be planning to book soon. Remember our wedding is only 9 days after Fourth of July, so travel season will be in full effect.
If some of you are driving up from LA, please let us know and we can help coordinate carpooling if you would like to share the costs of driving. Also, some of you might want to carpool from SF, if any of you would like to do that please let us know as well and we can help coordinate.
Our room block has ended at the Best Western but we think there are at least 5 rooms still available at the hotel. There are a few rooms at the Brannan Cottage Inn still available. Right now the only two rooms rented are for our wedding :) Let's take over that hotel too!
As always please let us know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. So happy to celebrate with you this summer and look forward to when we party in Napa.

On the first Sunday of March, we met up with our wedding photographer and took our engagement photos. We spent three lovely hours with Charlie and went to the following three spots: 1) Yerba Buena Gardens/Samovar Tea Lounge/Martin Luther King Jr Memorial 2) Palace of Fine Arts 3) Marin Headlands. Trucking Along

Well after a much needed break over the Holidays from wedding planning, Matt and I are back to business. Late last month we went to an “Open House” at our venue and were able to gain some ideas for decorating and setup. Even though we didn’t win a prize from the raffle, we still “won” a prize in the end. A vendor liked us as a couple and gave us the last prize she forgot to raffle off. Needless to say we are so very excited and still have a lot of work to do.
Just as a head’s up we are now five months out from the wedding; so if you haven’t, please start booking your travel and accommodations soon. Napa is a very popular location and our wedding is a week after the 4th of July, most likely there will be very few available rooms the closer we get to the date. Hope to see you all very soon!
We’re Engaged!!

Now that friends and family know Matt ‘put a ring on it’, we have been very busy setting the date, planning the activities, and finding accommodations. We are signing contracts and trying to stick to the budget but we are extremely excited to be planning our summer wedding.
I thought I would share a picture from our first Halloween together in 2010. Matt was Hans Solo and I was “Black” Princess Leia.
